7 Worlds Ag Celebrates Its First Anniversary

It’s been over 12 months now since Grochem Australia evolved into 7 Worlds Ag, and the response from dealers, growers and industry partners has been overwhelmingly positive. The rebrand wasn’t just a new look – it was a moment to re-state who we are, where we’re going, and how we’ll keep supporting growers across Australia with innovation and practical solutions.

A Rebrand with Purpose

The change to 7 Worlds Ag gave the business a fresh platform to talk about core priorities: sustainability, research and development, and a growing product range tailored to horticulture.

For our team, the new identity has opened up conversations about softer chemistries, organic inputs, and longer-term solutions that align with grower needs and market trends.

ProBlad Verde | A Good Example of Where We’re Headed

One product that illustrates that direction is ProBlad Verde. Certified as an input for organic production, ProBlad Verde contains the BLAD protein and delivers broad-spectrum contact activity against diseases such as brown rot in stone fruit, Botrytis grey mould in grapes and berries, and powdery mildew in cucurbits. It’s exactly the sort of softer, market-aligned chemistry we want to bring growers.

R&D in Action | Field Trials and Local Knowledge

Rebrand or not, research remains central to how we work. Recently our team – led by R&D manager Orville Hildebrand, spent several days in South Australia inspecting field trials.

These on-farm trials aren’t just boxes to tick – they inform label extensions, product development and the practical advice we give growers in-season. It’s that combination of trial work and grower feedback that helps us bring useful, effective products to market.

The People Behind the Brand

A name change means little without the people who bring it to life. Our team embraced the new identity and hit the road to talk directly with customers – dealers and growers alike.

It’s the conversations, problem-solving and day-to-day support that build trust, and our staff have been the engine behind that connection. As a small, independent Australian business, we value being accessible, responsive and practical.

Our Roots | Independent and Future-Focused

Like Grochem before it, 7 Worlds Ag remains an independent, privately owned business focused on horticulture. Our name and purpose take inspiration from voices who care for the planet, and we carry a combined team experience measured in decades. That experience, paired with an appetite for innovation, keeps our focus where it belongs – on helping growers protect and improve their crops today while building resilience for tomorrow.

Looking Forward

Our first anniversary as 7 Worlds Ag is more than a milestone, it’s fuel for what comes next. Expect to see continued R&D work, new label developments and an ongoing focus on products that meet both market demands and real grower challenges. We’re listening, we’re researching, and we’re developing – and we’ll keep sharing what we learn with our customers every step of the way.
